The quality is characterized by a smooth, yellowish- green color similar to ivory, golden- fish leaves, fat and average buds, clear rich and lasting fragrance, refreshingly mellow taste and a sweet aftertaste, clear and bright liquid, and tender yellow brewed leaves.

Tea History

The area of tea farm around Mt. HuangShan has been used to cultivate high quality tea for centuries as it has ideal tea growing environment of high mountains, cool misty and cloudy weather. We can track MaoFeng tea however's roots back to the late 1800's and a merchant called Xie Zheng An, who fled the war at that time and then he decided to builf a family tea business at HuangShan Mountain with named it after where it was produced – HuangShan mountain – and its appearance – it looks like a fur covering mountain peak - the tea which his family produced quickly became so popular in all around China for its great quality, taste, and delightful aroma.
