Lu Shan Mountain, known as "The shocking, amazing beautiful scenery in the world", is located in Jiu jiang City of Jiangxi Province. Tea History

In the peroid of  the China's Tang dynasty ( 618-907 ), the tea sage Lu Yu wrote of the delicious nature taste of Lu Shan Yun Wu tea. Now, because of the natural beauty of Lu Shan, a part of the mountain has become a high-level resort area. Even some famous people like Chiang Kai-chiek and Mao Zhedong had summer cottages here, far away from the demands of life. Lu Shan tea has been cultivated for nearly 1500 years and there are very exacting quality control regulations in place for tea farmers. We were told that nearly 40% of the fresh leaf grown in the area is deemed to be not good enough to become Lu Shan Yun Wu. Instead, this leaf is used to make other local types of green tea.

The Lu Shan Yun Wu tea leaves are in curly and tight shape as the process of rolling : the leaves will be put in a round bamboo basket, and then rolled into strip shapes by hands.The next step of the leaves is fry-dried. Afte the leaves water is decreased to below than 20%, the tea makers will rub the tea leaves with hands gently and sofly. Rusults the dry leaves has obvious tips. Actually, these rolling processes are the keys of having the Lu Shan Yun Wu green tea’s attrctive good-looking.

Tea Health Effection

Lu Shan Yun Wu tea is featured by delicate jade green color and luster, unveiled silver pekoe, lingering fragrance, freshingly sweet savor, as well as long-lasting aftertaste. The leaves contain a high ratio of chlorophyll and nutrients. It's content of alkaloid and Vitamin C is tremendous higher than common green tea.
